Job summary

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team.

You will produce and evaluate radiographic images to aid timely interpretation by the radiologist for the treatment of patients, while adhering to safety and quality policies and working with fixed and portable imaging equipment. The position requires AMA-accredited radiography training, Florida licensure, ARRT registration, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiography program from an AMA-accredited Radiography school.
• Florida State Radiography License.
• ARRT registered.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA.

Responsibilities

• Produces and evaluates radiological images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation for patient treatment.
• Adheres to image quality and safety policies established by the hospital and regulatory bodies.
• Determines technical factors for proper exposure levels.
• Operates DR fixed and portable imaging equipment and uses PACS and RIS.

Position Summary:

As Radiology Technologist, you will:

• Produces and evaluates radiological images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of these images for the treatment of patients
• Adheres to image specific policies related to quality and safety established by Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and regulatory and accreditation governing bodies
• Demonstrates analytical skills required for determining technical factors for proper exposure levels
• Practical knowledge of various DR fixed and portable imaging equipment as well as computer skills including PACS and RIS.

Qualifications:

• Satisfactory completion of Radiography program from an AMA accredited Radiography school
• Florida State Radiography License
• ARRT registered
• Current Basic Life Support, AHA

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

Shift: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Evening Shift, Mon - Fri 3p - 11:30p; On-call work is also required.

Salary Range: Minimum 25.32/hour - Maximum 40.52/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
