Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure high-quality imaging for pediatric and adult patients.

The role includes call rotations, 10-hour shifts, and cross-training opportunities as needed. The team supports delivering exceptional care in a Magnet-designated environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Trade School Equivalency.
• Experience: No Experience.
• Licenses & Certifications: IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRIRTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
