Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a radiology student for a PRN position to gain hands-on imaging experience under supervision. You will assist technologists during procedures and help manage patient flow throughout exams.

Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose

Under the supervision of a registered technologist performs imaging procedures to adult and pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Must be currently enrolled in an imaging program.Illinois: Following IEMA guidelines as it pertains to administering radiation/making exposures.

Responsibilities
  • Assists the technologist with imaging procedures. Students require direct supervision in surgery.
  • Escorts or transports patients to and from examination area, assists technologist with patient transfers to and from imaging tables, and assists patient as needed.
  • Assists outpatients with completing information necessary to the procedure.
