Job Summary: Operates all MRI scanners to perform diagnostic exams according to physician orders. Ensures the safe and efficient flow of patients and maintains complete and accurate data entry in RIS and PACS systems.

Location: Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL

Schedule:

  • 13 weeks, Monday - Friday, 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing diagnostic MRI of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies.
  • Providing radiologists with images necessary for diagnostic results to facilitate comprehensive reports to referring physicians.
  • Orienting physicians, residents, staff, and student technologists on MRI objectives and safety protocols.
  • Assisting nursing staff in medication management and documenting in Pyxis.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent, typically obtained through a two-year college or technical school.
  • ARRT certification with current registration.
  • Experience with MR Siemens Vida and Sola Scans.
  • BLS CPR certification required; PALS and NRP are a plus.
  • At least 6 months of Pediatric MRI experience.
  • Experience with MRI training programs, including clinical internships or one year of MRI experience.
