Willow Springs Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a caring Mental Health Technician (MHT) for pediatric care (ages 6-17). The role involves implementing therapeutic activities, supporting behavior interventions, and collaborating with clinicians to create a nurturing space for healing.

Position requires orientation of two weeks (Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:30pm) before starting the 12-hour day shifts (7:00PM-7:30AM). Base pay plus weekend and night differential is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year in mental health arena; inpatient/outpatient psychiatry preferred.
• Experience working with children ages 6-17 is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Engage children in structured play therapy activities under clinical guidance.
• Support individualized treatment plans and behavioral strategies.
• Monitor and document patient progress and behaviors.
• Foster a safe, positive, and therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other team members.
