Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking full-time Mental Health Technicians (MHT) to join our patient care team in Charleston, SC. The MHT will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, delivering therapeutic, age-appropriate care to patients from adolescent to geriatric and supporting individualized care plans.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, monitoring boundaries, and performing safety checks.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of healthcare or behavioral health related experience and/or training preferred.
• Age-Specific Competencies: Child, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct care and supervision to patients on assigned unit.
• Monitors and intervenes to maintain appropriate patient boundaries.
• Conduct patient safety checks.
