Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support pediatric urgent care operations under physician supervision. The role includes clinical support, patient intake, vital signs, and documentation, with emphasis on compassionate, efficient care for children and families.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, prior medical assistant experience, and comfort with computers. Willingness to commute to sister offices in Bridgewater, North Brunswick & Springfield as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior Medical Assistant experience or education.
• Knowledge of pediatric care and EKG placement in children.
• Ability to obtain lab tests via nasal swab and venipuncture.
• Professional, friendly demeanor and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers and patients.
• Greet and register patients as they arrive.
• Obtain medical history, vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for X-rays and assist with lab work.
• Assist in wound care, quality control testing, and patient care.
