Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of EKG placement and processing in children is a plus.
• Ability to obtain laboratory tests via nasal swab and venipuncture.
• Demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Front and back MA/Front Desk role.
• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Greet and register patients as they arrive.
• Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for X-rays.
• Perform and document routine labs (throat and urine cultures).
• Irrigate and assist with wounds.
• Assist in lab quality control testing.
• Maintain waiting room and exam rooms with supplies.
• Respond to emergencies and assist care team.
• Assist nurse/provider with procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
