Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior pediatric experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Greet and register patients as they arrive.
• Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for X-rays.
• Perform and document routine labs, such as throat and urine cultures (venipuncture experience preferred).
• Irrigate and assist with wounds.
• Assist in lab quality control testing.
• Be an integral part of the patient care team within scope of practice.
• Maintain exam rooms and front reception stocked with supplies.
• Maintain waiting room cleanliness and order.
• Follow safety practices and precautions.
• Assist distressed patients and notify medical team as needed.
• Protect patient confidentiality.
• Assist with splints and other medical procedures as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and participate in service recovery when needed.
