Job summary

Children’s Minnesota offers a Medical Assistant Dual Trainee Program in Minnesota. The program lets you work as a Clinic Assistant (0.6 FTE) while completing a Medical Assistant program at Rasmussen University, Anoka Technical College, or Century College.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Passion for pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam room and appropriately document information.
• Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed by a clinician.
• Perform and assist with procedures and treatments as directed by a clinician, such as rapid strep testing and nebulizer treatments.
• Perform laboratory specimen collection and processing while maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality.
