Job summary

OnPoint Medical Group in Littleton, CO seeks a Medical Assistant Supervisor to lead the medical assistant team at Lone Tree Pediatrics, coordinating scheduling, workflow, and frontline patient care with compassion and efficiency.

You will train staff, evaluate performance, and collaborate with providers to improve service delivery while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assisting program or equivalent (LPN, RN, EMT)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical assistant in a family, internal medicine or pediatrics clinic
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience in a healthcare environment
• Proficiency in medical appointment scheduling systems and electronic health records (EHR)
• Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the medical assistant team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care
• Manage medical appointment scheduling processes to optimize provider availability and patient access
• Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations for medical assistants to promote professional development and adherence to clinical protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to address operational challenges and improve patient service delivery
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies within the medical assistant department
• Complete Medical Assisting duties when needed
