Job summary

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking an outstanding Medical Assistant Supervisor for Lone Tree Pediatrics to oversee the medical assistant team and ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. You will coordinate scheduling, train staff, and liaise with providers to optimize service delivery.

The role requires at least 3 years as a medical assistant in pediatrics or family medicine, plus a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory capacity. Experience with EHRs and scheduling systems is essential.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Medical Assisting program or equivalent (LPN, RN, EMT).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a medical assistant in family, internal medicine or pediatrics.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

The Medical Assistant Supervisor at Lone Tree Pediatrics plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of medical assistant activities within the healthcare facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the medical assistant team, ensuring that patient care and administrative tasks are executed with accuracy and compassion. The supervisor will coordinate appointment scheduling, manage workflow, and serve as a liaison between medical assistants, healthcare providers, and patients to optimize service delivery. Additionally, this role involves training, mentoring, and evaluating staff to maintain high standards of clinical and administrative performance. Ultimately, the Medical Assistant Supervisor contributes to enhancing patient satisfaction and supporting the overall mission of the healthcare organization through effective team leadership and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Medical Assisting program or equivalent (LPN, RN, EMT)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical assistant in a family, internal medicine or pediatrics clinic.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency in medical appointment scheduling systems and electronic health records (EHR).
  • Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential.
  • Associate degree or higher in Health Sciences or related field.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Familiarity with healthcare quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction metrics.
  • Advanced training or certification in healthcare management or leadership.
  • Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations.

Salary Range: $27.00 to $32.00 Hourly
