Job summary

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our pediatric care team at OnPoint Pediatrics in Highlands Ranch, CO. You will support physicians, nurses, and APPs to create a welcoming, safe patient experience for children and families.

You will perform vital signs, EMR data entry, front-office duties as needed, and participate in in-clinic procedures in a collaborative, physician-led environment focused on high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduation from an accredited healthcare program (Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, or EMT, or equivalent)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to maintain all certifications required by applicable state guidelines

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and families and prepare them for their visits
• Escort patients to examination rooms and obtain accurate medical histories
• Measure and document vital signs
• Review and update medications, allergies, immunizations and other information in the EMR
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments and in-office procedures
• Perform point-of-care testing within your training and regulations
• Complete pre-visit planning and review in established procedures
• Support front-office tasks such as check-in/out and scheduling
