Job summary

HonorHealth’s Primary Care-Cave Creek clinic in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Medical Assistant for a day shift (7:30 AM–4:30 PM) at 20330 N Cave Creek Rd, 85024. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is offered.

The MA will provide front and back office support, escort patients, maintain clean exam rooms, and assist providers with exams and procedures. Requirements include MA training completion, BLS, fingerprint clearance, and a preferred 6 months of MA experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a MA training program is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and escort patients to exam rooms.
• Support front and back office duties including reception and scheduling.
• Assist with exams, injections, phlebotomy and basic testing under provider supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform CLIA waived tests as directed.
• Coordinate with insurance for authorizations and referrals.
