Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for its Primary Care Pediatrics team in Vernon Hills, IL. This full‑time/part‑time role supports patient flow, vitals, documentation, and basic procedures in a busy clinic.

Hourly pay ranges from $19.89 to $28.84, with shifts Monday–Thursday, Fridays, and rotating Saturdays. Travel to other sites may be required; training is provided on the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association is required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
• One year of work experience is required; prior medical office experience is preferred; on‑the‑job training is provided for those without prior MA training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height, and weight.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
