Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Primary Care Pediatrics team in Vernon Hills, IL. The role involves patient greeting, vital signs, documentation and basic front office duties in a fast-paced office.

Expect CPR certification and MA certification preferred; at least one year of prior medical office experience is beneficial. Travel to other sites may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; MA program preferred.
• CPR certification required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
