Job summary

MultiCare Health System seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join the Mary Bridge Children’s Pediatrics clinic at Pacific Ave SE. The MA-C will support physicians and APPs, manage patient flow, and assist with exams and treatments.

The role requires MA-C certification in Washington, current BLS, and at least 1 year of healthcare experience. This on-site position offers day shifts, with a Monday–Friday schedule and clinic hours.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification is required.
• MA-C certification in Washington state.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Organizing patient flow in collaboration with front office staff.
• Interviewing patients and obtaining vital signs.
• Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments; venipuncture where needed.
• Administering medications per Washington state regulations and competency.
• Relaying instructions to patients and families.
• Sending/receiving patient medical records and facilitating referrals.
