Job summary

The Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network plays a key role in our Pediatric Urgent Care Clinic in Gig Harbor, with the flexibility to support Tacoma and Olympia clinics as needed. We require WA MA-C certification and current BLS, plus a preference for at least one year in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• WA MA-C certification required; one year healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Per diem, outpatient pediatric Urgent Care setting.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills patient care responsibilities such as interviewing patients, taking vital signs and preparing for exams.
• Administers medications per Washington DOH regulations and available competency.
• Performs specimen collection including venipuncture and coordinates care with the team.
• Handles clerical tasks like medical records and referrals as assigned.
