Advocate Health operates within the Advocate Medical Group Yacktman Pediatrics network in Illinois. The Medical Assistant will support providers and the care team, ensuring a seamless and compassionate patient experience from check-in to post-visit follow-up.

The role requires a MA diploma or equivalent experience, pediatric exposure is a plus, and schedule includes weekday hours with rotating Saturdays and one evening shift per week.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Medical Assistant Diploma or MA Certification, or 2 years MA experience, to qualify.
• Previous pediatric experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
