Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized provider.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient history and clinical information.
• Measure and record vital signs and chart data.
• Prepare examination/treatment rooms and maintain supplies.
• Perform routine diagnostic and laboratory tests.
• Assist with administration of medications under supervision.
• Explain procedures to patients under supervision.
