Job summary

Pediatric Associates Family of Companies in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a pediatric care team under clinician supervision. You will perform intake vitals, assist with examinations, and help maintain a safe, friendly environment for children and families.

The role requires MA diploma/certification, current BLS, and at least 1 year of MA experience. You will manage charting, vaccines, phlebotomy, and clerical tasks while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
• MA diploma/certification required; active BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience with vaccinations, phlebotomy, and basic patient care procedures acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Take and document intake vitals including height, weight, temp, BP, pulse and respirations.
• Assist clinicians with examinations and procedures under supervision.
• Document medical history, medications, allergies, and vaccines in patient records.
• Administer vaccines and manage vaccine information statements.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as directed.
• Provide patient and family education and support; ensure infection control standards.
