Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• One year of clinical experience OR graduate of Medical Assistant program required.
• Two years of experience in similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification current or within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-visit planning by reviewing patient records and updating recent results.
• Pre-charting before appointments and coordinating with the Care Team.
• Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, update charts and history.
• Maintain exam rooms, supply inventories and clean/sterile procedures.
• Communicate with care team about orders, labs and tests; participate in quality initiatives.
