Columbus Children's Healthcare in Columbus, NE is hiring a Pediatric Medical Assistant to support nurses and providers, prepare exam rooms, document patient information, and help maintain a smooth pediatric clinic flow.

The ideal candidate balances clinical and clerical tasks, communicates compassionately with families, and adheres to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection prevention standards. This full-time 8-5 schedule offers the opportunity to grow in a collaborative, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• CMA license required and BLS certification or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic systems.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care under nurse/provider direction and assist with clinical procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms, obtain patient information, and document visits.
• Administer immunizations within scope of training and supervision as needed.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and compliant examination rooms and equipment.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, and charting in the EHR.
