Job summary

PriMED Physicians is seeking a Pediatric Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time role in our Centerville pediatric office. The position offers 30 hours per week with responsibilities including patient rooming, history taking, immunizations, venipuncture, and chart maintenance.

The candidate should have an LPN license or completed MA program, CPR certification, and strong communication skills. Phlebotomy experience is preferred, and EHR familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain medical charts, stock rooms, and ensure sterilization and supplies are up to date.

Pediatric Nurse LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or Medical Assistant (MA)

We are currently looking for an LPN or MA to fill a Part-time position (30 hours/week) in our Centerville Pediatric Office.

LPN or MA (Licensed Practical Nurse/Medical Assistant) Duties include:

• Rooming and evaluating patients, taking history, performing evaluations such as temperature, height, weight, head circumference, blood pressure, and pulse.
• Performing procedures including administering immunizations and flu shots; venipuncture; splinting, O2 saturation, cathing,suctioning and ear irrigation.
• Medical chart documentation, maintaining medical supplies, stocking rooms and using sterilization equipment.

LPN/MA Requirements:

• Must have successfully completed an LPN program with a valid license OR successfully completed a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
• Reliable transportation
• CPR Certification
• Phlebotomy experiencepreferred.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and a good role model.
• Must be able to work well under pressure while maintaining quality care and efficient patient flow.
• Ability to work independently in a very fast paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task
• Possess exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Communication and problem-solving skills necessary
• Basic computer skills (EHR experience is a plus!)
