Pafc is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and care teams in a pediatric-focused health setting in San Antonio, TX. You will room patients, document vitals and history, and assist with examinations and routine procedures.

You’ll perform basic screenings, vaccines, and point‑of‑care tests, while maintaining accurate records and providing patient education in a cooperative team environment.

Qualifications

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• MA diploma/certification preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Welcome and room patients; prepare exam rooms and ensure cleanliness.
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient history in the EMR.
• Assist clinicians during routine procedures and prepare patients for examinations.
• Perform basic screenings and administer vaccines per protocol.
• Collect routine lab specimens and perform point‑of‑care testing.
• Maintain accurate patient records and provide patient education.
