Job summary

Pediatrics of Southwest Houston is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of pediatric care experience. You will support patient flow, assist in exams, and perform in-office procedures while educating patients and families. Strong teamwork and computer skills are essential.

Certification as a Medical Assistant is required. Experience with the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program is preferred. This in-person clinic role offers a steady schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of pediatric medical experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required.
• Experience managing Vaccines for Children (VFC) program is preferred.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills are required.
• Proficient with computer systems and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs for all patients.
