Job summary

Swedish Medical Group’s pediatric clinic in Seattle is hiring an Associate Medical Assistant. You will work with licensed providers to take vitals, administer vaccines and medications, and help run a busy pediatric clinic with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical training for medical assistants or a medical assistant apprenticeship.
• Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or have 1+ year MA clinic experience with vitals, injections and meds.
• Certification: Washington Medical Assistant Certification; within 30 days: BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and administer vaccines and medications for pediatric patients.
• Support smooth clinic operations and collaborate with licensed providers.
• Assist with patient care coordination and documentation in the EHR.
