Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking an Associate Medical Assistant for the pediatric clinic in Seattle. You will work with licensed providers, taking vitals, vaccines and medications, and supporting clinic operations to ensure high-quality pediatric care for children and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on MA clinical training.
• Graduate of an MA apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the US Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year MA work experience including vitals, injections and meds.
• Washington MA Certification upon hire.
• Within 30 days of hire: BLS - AHA.
• Clinic-based medical assisting experience (0-6 months).

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and administer vaccines/medications.
• Support smooth clinic operations and teamwork.
• Deliver hands-on patient care and assist licensed providers.
• Adhere to clinic policies and standards for safety and quality.

Education

Washington Medical Assistant Certification

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

MA apprenticeship program

Two years of medical training in US Armed Forces

Medical assistant clinic experience (0-6 months)

Hands-on MA clinical training

Vital signs, injections, medications administration
