Job summary

Glendale Pediatrics in Glendale, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our pediatric team. This full-time, in-person role supports physicians and nurses by greeting patients, taking vital signs, recording histories, and preparing for exams.

The ideal candidate will have a Medical Assistant certification or degree, pediatric experience preferred, and solid skills in medical terminology, computer use, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have Medical Assistant Certification or Degree.
• Pediatric experience preferred (1 year).
• Must be reliable, punctual and able to commute to Glendale, CA.
• Medical terminology knowledge (1 year) required.
• Computer skills (1 year) required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients for appointments, take vital signs and patient history.
• Room patients, prepare for the doctor, and assist with procedures.
• Administer vaccinations and prepare for medical procedures.
• Document chart notes and communicate with patients and parents.
• Work as part of a pediatric back-office team.

Job Duties:

Back Office:

Greet patients for appointments, take vital signs and patient history, room patients, prepare them for the doctor, administer vaccinations, prepare for medical procedures, communicate with patients and parents, chart documentation, and more!

Job Type: Full-time (with benefits).
