Job summary

Mercy Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support pediatric clinics in a float capacity. The role covers clinical and administrative tasks, including venipuncture readiness, vital signs, and rooming, while coordinating with providers across clinics.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, MA program completion, and comfort in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Training through Mercy’s MA Clinic Academy is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• New hires must complete Mercy's MA Clinic Academy training.
• Experience in outpatient or ambulatory care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room pediatric patients and obtain vital signs.
• Document patient care and clinical information in the EHR.
• Assist with exams, procedures, and basic diagnostic testing.
• Support front-office functions and scheduling.
