Actalent in Knoxville, TN seeks a Medical Assistant for a pediatric clinic. This contract-to-hire role supports clinicians with clinical and administrative tasks, focusing on pediatric care.

You will handle vital signs, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, charting, patient education, and room prep, with a Monday–Friday schedule, onsite. Compensation ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Pediatric experience is a must for this role.
• Active CMA or RMA certification is required.
• Experience taking vital signs and documenting patient information.
• Pediatric phlebotomy experience is required.
• Experience with point-of-care testing.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsabilidades

• Take and record patient vital signs.
• Make follow-up calls to parents and guardians.
• Communicate care instructions and clinic information to families.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during visits.
• Clean and reset exam rooms between patients.
• Perform point-of-care testing.
• Draw blood from pediatric patients.
• Complete medication prior authorizations.
• Support daily clinic operations and patient care.
