• Demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Strong communications and organizational skills.
• Prior pediatric experience.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willing to learn medical software.
• Experience with medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Greet and register patients as they arrive.
• Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for X-rays.
• Perform and document routine labs (e.g., throat and urine cultures).
• Irrigate and assist with wounds.
• Assist in lab quality control testing.
• Be integral to the patient care team and assist with patient care within scope of practice.
• Keep exam rooms and front desk stocked with supplies.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of waiting areas.
• Adhere to safety practices and precautions.
• Assist in emergencies and notify medical team as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Assist with splints and other procedures.
