Pediatric Associates is seeking a Medical Assistant to support pediatric care in Carmichael, CA. You will perform clinical and administrative tasks under clinician supervision to promote health and wellness in a safe, family-centered environment.

The ideal candidate has MA diploma/certification, BLS, and strong interpersonal skills. You will assist with vaccines, vitals, documentation, and EHRs, while maintaining infection control and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor of Science in General Medicine or equivalent preferred.
• MA Diploma/Certification required; or minimum 3 years MA experience.

Responsabilités

• Welcome patients and ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Take intake vitals and notify clinician of abnormalities.
• Document medical history, meds, allergies, and vaccines.
• Assist with procedures under clinician supervision.
• Vaccine administration and medication reconciliation.
• Maintain vaccine cold chain and report excursions.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen handling as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and team.
