Qualifications

• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current Montana LPN license.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within seven days of hire or before providing independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and prepare pediatric patients for appointments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and other clinical needs while maintaining patient comfort and privacy.
• Collect laboratory specimens and document patient information in the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate patient care activities including referrals, testing, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow-ups.
• Communicate with patients and families regarding appointments, testing, medications, and care coordination.
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies to support daily clinic operations.
