Qualifications

• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Montana license; RQI Provider (BLS) within seven days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and prepare pediatric patients for appointments, taking histories and vitals.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and clinical needs while preserving patient comfort and privacy.
• Collect lab specimens, perform clinical tasks, and document patient information in the EMR.
• Coordinate patient care activities including referrals, testing, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow-ups.
• Communicate with patients and families about appointments, testing, medications, and care coordination.
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies and assist with patient calls and portal communications.
