Christie Clinic Pediatrics is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant at the Windsor clinic in Champaign. Work Monday through Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with no night or weekend requirements.

You will prepare exam rooms, restock, update EMR with patient information, and assist providers with procedures and patient education. Responsibilities include chart preparation, handling lab orders, responding to EMR work lists, and maintaining a safe, efficient clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Graduation from an accredited CNA or CMA program (preferred).
• CPR Certification (required/licensed).

Responsabilités

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with instruments before appointments.
• Restock and clean rooms at end of day.
• Update patient medical records and enter into EMR.
• Review electronic medical record work lists and flag system usage.
• Perform lab order entries and handle specimens as needed.
• Assist providers with procedures and surgeries.
• Educate patients on medications, procedures and wound care.
