Job summary

Atrium Health's Providence Pediatrics in Charlotte seeks a Medical Assistant for a full-time role. You will perform patient rooming, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and health maintenance tasks under supervision, with room for growth in clinical skills.

Expect 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM–12 PM. BLS and MA program completion are required; compensation reflects 21.85–32.80 USD/hour with a sign-on bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent military training (clinical).
• Current BLS certification may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, record vitals, review medical history and health maintenance.
• Assist provider with procedures as ordered.
• Perform venipuncture and collect/label samples; assist with CLIA-waived tests.
