Candidates should have a Medical Assistant certificate or be enrolled in a medical, nursing, or pharmacy program, plus a high school diploma or GED and CPR certification.

Formación

• Medical Assistant certificate or enrollment in medical, nursing or pharmacy program.
• CPR certification and background checks may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations.
• Perform medical assistant evaluations of patients.
• Administer prescribed medications.
• Apply sterile dressings and perform phlebotomy.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
