Qualifications

• Completion of WA-approved medical assistant training or ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited program.
• Certification as CMA (AAMA, NHA, or NCCT) within 120 days of hire; WA DOH CMA credential required.
• Previous experience in a community health clinic and EHR experience preferred.
• Ability to provide excellent patient-centered care and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms, manage visit flow.
• Perform phlebotomy and lab procedures as directed.
• Administer injections and immunizations; document care.
• Prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, and stock supplies.
• Assist providers with exams and patient education.
• Manage refill requests and patient referrals with proper documentation.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, support care team; ensure safety protocols.
