Job summary

Pediatric Associates Family of Companies is seeking a Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to provide quality team-based patient care under clinician supervision. The role supports chronic disease management, vaccination administration, and a range of clinical and administrative duties in a pediatric setting.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, 1 year MA experience, and active BLS certification. Travel to other office locations and PPE use are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a healthcare setting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• MA Diploma/Certification or 3 years MA experience preferred.
• Active BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take and document intake vitals and notify clinician of abnormalities.
• Prepare patient for examination and assist with procedures.
• Perform vaccine and medication reconciliation and provide vaccine information statements.
• Maintain infection control and ensure safe patient environment.
• Handle administrative tasks: calls, prescriptions, referrals, forms.
• Phlebotomy and lab sample collection per policy.
