Job summary

RN Pediatric Medical Surgical Nurse in the McLane Children's Hospital at Temple, TX, working Full-Time Nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3x12s). You will oversee patient care on a 48-bed unit serving ages 0-21, including general medical-surgical patients and pediatric chemotherapy administration.

This role emphasizes collaboration with a team, adherence to nursing standards, and patient-family education. A minimum of 1–2 years pediatric nursing experience is required; BLS certification is expected within

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans aligned with patient goals.
• Educate patients, families, and team members to support understanding and decision-making.
