UCSF Health seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to care for pediatric patients in BCH Oakland ambulatory settings. Under supervision, you will assist with intake, vitals, vaccines, labs and care coordination, while maintaining patient safety and privacy.

Developed for a 3-month period, this role requires CA LVN licensure, BLS, EPIC proficiency, and strong communication. The LVN will support families and collaborate with the care team across UCSF Medical Center locations.

Qualifications

• Current California Vocational Nurse license.
• Current CPR certification (BLS).
• One year of LVN experience.
• Proficiency in EPIC.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient needs by observing physical symptoms and emotional state.
• Communicate conditions and needs to RN/physician and alert providers as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to plan care and set goals.
• Provide nursing care for neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent patients.
