Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years LVN experience in ambulatory outpatient clinic setting.
• Current licensure as a Vocational Nurse in the State of California.
• Current American Heart Association CPR Certification.
• Strong clinical procedure skills including phlebotomy and injections.
• Experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Basic computer skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient needs and responses to medical regimens through observation.
• Report conditions to the health care team and alert providers as needed.
• Perform routine clinical functions: vital signs, height, weight, documentation in EMR.
• Plan for patient needs considering physical, psychosocial, cultural, and developmental factors.
• Maintain safe environment and ensure infection control and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to manage clinic flow and patient experience.
• Assist with medication administration and patient education in ambulatory care.
• Document and communicate orders, coding, and patient responses in EMR.
