Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse for the One Health Pediatrics: King clinic. The role involves rooming patients, taking vitals, handling basic lab work, and assisting physicians with procedures in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

The position requires LPN licensure, BLS certification, and completion of a practical nursing program. Schedule is varied days, approximately 24 hours per week, with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• LPN license issued by the state; Basic Life Support (BLS) within 45 days if required.
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room the patient for exams, obtain vital signs and document health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures using sterile technique and infection control.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries as indicated.
• Administer medications under orders, including vaccines and IV therapy as allowed.
• Educate patients on procedures, tests, referrals, and post-care steps.
