Job summary

Mercy Health in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver patient care under physician oversight. In this role you will observe, assess and document patient responses during visits, collaborate with the care team, and support providers throughout procedures and treatments.

The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Active state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure or LPN applicant
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
• One year of clinical patient care experience (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians and other health care team members in meeting patient/family needs
• Implements the plan of care by providing direct basic nursing care in accordance with the LPN scope of practice
• Assists provider with procedures, treatments, and interventions
• Acts as a chaperone for health care providers during patient examination as requested
• Other duties as assigned
