Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support outpatient pediatric care at the new Bluffton clinic. Under RN supervision, you will assist in examinations, measure vital signs, and document in the patient's record.

The role includes room preparation and collaboration with physicians to deliver patient-centered care. Relocation to the new Bluffton location (700 Buckwalter Towne Blvd) and a 40-hour workweek with two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited LPN program with six months of patient care experience.
• Licensed LPN in SC or a compact state; CPR/BLS certification required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills; computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment under physician direction.
• Interview patients, take vital signs, and document in EMR.
• Prepare treatment rooms and support patient-centered care.
