Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking an overnight pediatric LPN to provide one-on-one homecare for an infant in the Rockford, IL area. The role focuses on G-tube, Trach, and Vent care with comprehensive paid training and ongoing clinical support.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois.
• Current Health Certificate (per state regulations or contract requirements).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Initiate and follow the established plan of care, requesting revisions as patient needs change.
• Provide therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing interventions.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate significant changes to the physician or supervisor.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments while documenting patient response.
• Support patient and family education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning as appropriate.
