Job summary

Cure 4 The Kids Foundation is seeking an experienced Laboratory Assistant for a full-time role in Las Vegas, NV. The position involves venipuncture, specimen handling, and routine pediatric lab testing in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will work with physicians and a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, maintaining accurate records and following laboratory policies. The environment is family-centered with a strong focus on safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Lab Assistant or Office Lab Assistant certification (Nevada).
• Minimum 2 years as a phlebotomist.
• At least 6 months of lab experience or coursework.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipuncture and skin puncture for pediatric specimens.
• Maintains patient identification and records collection data.
• Performs CBC, Sed rate, glucose, urine hCG analyses.
• Performs quality control for urinalysis, INR, glucose.
• Centrifuges, labels, and stores samples for analysis.
• Monitors temperature/humidity of storage areas.
