Ideal candidates are dependable and communicative with the dietary team. Pay is $16.00 per hour, with opportunities to assist across main, school, and catering kitchens within a pediatric rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or dietary support is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with dietary team and hospital staff.
• Attention to hygiene and dress code in a kitchen environment.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and use equipment properly.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine and keep dish room clean and organized.
• Assist with food preparation and patient meal trays with proper temperatures and portions.
• Prepare modified diets as directed and ensure timely meal production.
• Clean kitchens and dish rooms daily and sanitize surfaces.
• Stock deliveries and transport meals to hospital units and classrooms.
• Manage POS entries during meal periods and notify supervisors of issues.
• Support inventory control and FIFO rotation; assist with snack deliveries.
• Attend department meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
