Job summary

St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children in New York is seeking a Nutrition/Food Service Associate to support inpatient and outpatient meal preparation, assemble carts, and serve meals in dining areas. You will follow diet orders, maintain hygiene, and obey regulatory standards.

Experience in food service is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with enrollment in a college nutrition program encouraged.

• Experience with scales and measurements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review resident diet information daily to ensure meals meet medical orders.
• Prepare meal carts and trays per individualized meal plans.
• Assist with delivery of meal carts and serving meals in dining areas.
• Prepare feeding formulas as per diet order where applicable.
• Maintain infection control and comply with regulatory standards.
